ADHD

AWARENESS

OCTOBER 2021

OCTOBER IS ADHD AWARENESS MONTH

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting children and adults around the world. In the United States, it’s estimated that ADHD affects about 10 % of children and around 5% of adults.

Each October, experts, parents and individuals with ADHD come together to raise awareness and celebrate what makes the ADHD community unique.

This year’s theme is Reframing ADHD: Discovering New Perspectives –  a topic that ADHD Online founders Zach Booker and Dr. Randy Duthler hold near and dear.

“Once I was diagnosed and had access to resources, I was able to harness my symptoms into a force for good,” says Booker. “Our mission is to help others transform the swarm of distractions into a swarm of creativity. ADHD is my super power.”

– Zachariah Booker

DIAGNOSIS IS THE BEGINNING OF A BETTER LIFE

Once diagnosed, many people find that they too have secret super powers. At ADHD Online, it is our mission to ensure everyone has access to ADHD diagnosis and resources for treatment.

HOW TO GET STARTED

The first step is to take our online assessment for yourself or your child. Then, one of  our doctorate-level psychologists in our network will personally review your assessment for ADHD as well as for other underlying concerns such as anxiety and depression. With a proper diagnosis, you can begin to thrive with ADHD.
