Meet our coaches

From overall goal-setting to sleep and nutrition, our coaches bring expertise in evidence-based strategies designed to help you move forward.

Valerie Snyder, LVN, NBC-HWC

Val helps you tackle the stuff that makes ADHD exhausting—like starting tasks you’ve been avoiding for weeks, staying organized without feeling overwhelmed, or remembering literally anything. She’s worked with hundreds of ADHD brains and knows the difference between advice that sounds good and strategies that actually stick.

Amanda Chocko, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Sleep Coach

Traditional sleep advice often fails to address the specific needs of the ADHD brain. Amanda works with people who can’t fall asleep, can’t stay asleep, or can’t wake up without feeling sub-par. She helps you figure out what’s actually disrupting your sleep (not just “try melatonin”) and builds routines that work with your schedule and your brain.

Karen Kipp MA, RDN, Master's of Integrative Holistic Health and Wellness

Karen helps you make food choices that support your energy, focus, and mood—without turning it into a stressful diet. She’s a registered dietitian who gets that ADHD brains have different relationships with food, and works with you to find what’s realistic and sustainable.

How it works

ADHD Online is a clinical platform—which means we're not just a resource site, we actually provide healthcare. Here's how it works:

If you're already a patient: Log into your patient portal and book a coaching session. Your coach will review the relevant parts of your information so they can start the conversation with an understanding of your goals and what you’re navigating right now.

If you're new here: You'll need to complete a Diagnostic Evaluation first. The evaluation helps us understand your unique needs and becomes part of your care with us. Once it’s complete, you’ll be able to schedule coaching, and your coach will come prepared with helpful context—so you’re not starting from zero.

Start Diagnostic Evaluation

The Mental Wellness Snapshot is a quick check-in tool you can take whenever you want—after your diagnostic evaluation, before a coaching session, or just to see how you're doing. It gives you (and your coach) a snapshot of where you are right now: mood, stress, sleep, focus, all of it.

It's helpful if you're not sure what to work on next, but it's totally optional. Some people take it every few weeks to track progress. Others never touch it. Up to you.

30 minutes. Long enough to dig into what's not working and make a plan, short enough that it doesn't feel like another huge time commitment you have to manage.

Sessions are virtual, so you can do them from wherever—your car, your couch, a closet if your house is chaos. No commute, no waiting room.

Start Diagnostic Evaluation

Your coach isn't going to lecture you or hand you a printout of "10 Tips to Stay Organized." They're going to ask what's tripping you up, why the things you've already tried aren't working, and help you figure out what might actually fit your life.

Maybe you walk away with one tiny habit to test. Maybe you figure out why mornings are impossible. Maybe you just finally talk to someone who doesn't say "have you tried a planner?" It depends on what you need that day.

Why take the Snapshot?

You’ve already taken the Diagnostic Evaluation, our online assessment that has been clinically validated4 for the diagnosis of ADHD in adults.

The Snapshot offers unique insight and creates a useful baseline by capturing the state of your mental wellness at this moment. Taking it before your first coaching session and periodically throughout your coaching journey will help you and your coach identify the best path forward.

Ready to get started?

Wellness coaching is designed to inspire and motivate you to move forward in ways that may help you live with greater clarity.

If you’re already a patient, log in to your portal and book a session with the coach who best suits your current needs.

If you’re new to ADHD Online, start with the Diagnostic Evaluation. It’s how we learn about you, and it unlocks access to coaching, medication management, therapy, and everything else we offer, if warranted by diagnosis. Your coach will review your relevant information before your first session, so you can hit the ground running.

If you’re unsure which wellness coaching is right for you, we offer free appointments with a Mentavi Care Navigator who can help you choose a path that feels right for you.

Curious about stimulant or non-stimulant approaches?

If you’re navigating ADHD or other mental health challenges, you have options. At Mentavi Health / ADHD Online, we assess what works for you.
Some may start with non-medicated approaches like coaching or therapy.  In other cases, patients may explore medication treatment paths when warranted by diagnosis. For some diagnosed with ADHD, the treatment clinician may work with the patient to determine if stimulant approaches work best for them. Stimulant approaches are certain medications under medical treatment that are generally Class II controlled substances. Non-stimulant options are another approach that can work for many.  Medication approaches can be used in tandem with coaching or therapy.

The key is starting with our diagnostic evaluation, which is reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional. Getting clarity on what you’re experiencing is the first step toward feeling more in control. From there, you and your treatment team can determine the best path—whether that’s coaching, therapy, medication, or a combination that works for your life.

If you’re not feeling right, let us walk alongside you by starting with the diagnostic evaluation.
There may be a brief delay in service today between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM ET. Thank you for your patience — we look forward to assisting you shortly.
