“For common conditions like ADHD, depression, and anxiety, we know that a combination of medication and some form of therapy often works much better than either alone."
~Barry Herman, Chief Medical Officer, Mentavi Health
“The doctor was amazing. She asked a lot of questions and gave me time to explain everything. The medicine she prescribed has been an enormous help.”
~Eryn
“So the reason we require people in our system right now to go through the Smart Assessment process is all about trying to hone in on their problems, define what their problems are, make diagnoses, and then offer treatment recommendations that are tailored for each patient.”
~Barry Herman, Chief Medical Officer, Mentavi Health
“I found her [the clinician] very easy to talk to. She was familiar with common symptoms and traits of ADHD. Knew what to ask me to determine if I needed meds.”
~Becky
“There are huge advantages to the patient to have the option to do telehealth…you can be seen in the way that works best for you. You can save time and money on travel. You can save the convenience of not having to figure out the logistics of going to an in-person appointment.”
~Dr. Amy Marschall, PsyD

What is the Smart Assessment like?
  • It will take about 60-90 minutes to complete–but you can start and stop
as frequently as you’d like, and the Assessment will save your spot!
  • You’ll answer questions about your
daily habits, challenges, feelings, and experiences in different settings, from work to social and family, as well as some family history.
  • Most questions will focus on adult ADHD symptoms, while others explore conditions that frequently occur with ADHD, such as anxiety, depression, loneliness, Binge Eating Disorder,
Social Media Addiction, and more.
Once I take the Smart Assessment, can I get a prescription?

Here’s what happens after you finish the Smart Assessment:

  • Within 5 days after you complete the Assessment, you’ll receive your personalized mental health evaluation, prepared by one of our licensed psychologists in your state.
  • If you received an ADHD diagnosis, you can schedule a telehealth appointment with one of our clinicians in your state*, or take it to your provider.
  • At your appointment, you and your clinician will collaboratively create your treatment plan. Should medication be a necessary part of this plan, your clinician will prescribe it. Our staff will then promptly send this prescription to your chosen local pharmacy for your convenience.
What kind of ADHD medication is available?
  • You’ve likely heard of Adderall and Ritalin, but there are other stimulants, non-stimulants, or other forms of treatment that might be right for you.
