Clinically validated in the diagnosis of ADHD in adults

Our evaluation has been clinically validated in the diagnosis of ADHD in adults and will also diagnose co-occurring conditions like anxiety and depression. We partner with administrators, university clinics, college success offices, and counselors to provide accessible, comprehensive, and evidence-based mental health evaluation and support to college students nationwide.

Our clinical study was developed and conducted with scientific rigor and clinical oversight and reaffirms our dedication to advancing virtual mental health care.

How our evaluation works

Student completes the Diagnostic Evaluation.

1

A licensed psychologist reviews responses and provides a detailed report within 5 days.

2

Student may explore treatment at their college or university or meet with one of our clinicians2 to explore options with ADHD Online, as warranted by diagnosis.

3

How treatment works

Students may bring their diagnostic results to campus health services, counseling centers, or other providers to develop a treatment plan. Alternatively, they can continue their care with ADHD Online, which offers medical treatment for ADHD and other conditions across more than 40 states, with an appropriate diagnosis guiding their care.

Student meets with a clinician 3

Within 7 days of receiving results, students can meet with one of our clinicians to discuss a personalized treatment plan, as warranted by diagnosis.

1

Student and clinician check-in

30 days after the initial appointment, the student and clinician will meet again to discuss progress and identify any necessary changes.

2

Follow-ups occur as needed

Every 90 days, the clinician and student will meet to ensure that progress continues.

3

Therapy and mental wellness coaching are also available. Students may engage in these services for ADHD or related conditions, with an appropriate diagnosis informing care.

A comprehensive mental health evaluation and clinically validated ADHD diagnosis can empower your students to identify appropriate supplemental support, develop a personalized treatment plan, as warranted by diagnosis, that works for their brain rather than against it. 1 Diagnostic Evaluation is clinically validated for the diagnosis of ADHD in Adults. Study results were published in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry.

3 Initial and follow up meetings with providers require separate bookings and are subject to our Payment, Cancellation, No-Show and Refund Policy.

Prescriptions, including those for controlled substances, are issued only when warranted by a diagnosis, are clinically appropriate, and are in accordance with DEA and state telemedicine regulations.

Curious about stimulant or non-stimulant approaches?

These terms refer to certain approaches to treat diagnosed ADHD. Mentavi Health / ADHD Online may provide stimulant approaches (certain medications under medical treatment that are generally considered Class II controlled substances) or non-stimulant approaches (medications generally not considered Class II, and/or therapy and coaching not related to medication).

A diagnosis and initial conversation with our treatment clinicians is key to the best path for you. The diagnosis is a key first step to determine if you have ADHD or other related conditions. Approximately 60% of patients with ADHD have co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression, for example. At the same time, patients who believe they have ADHD may not even have it. For those who do, there can be a variety of considerations into what kind of treatment works best to meet the patient where they’re at.

If you are not feeling right, your journey starts with the first step of diagnostic evaluation.

There may be a brief delay in service today between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM ET. Thank you for your patience — we look forward to assisting you shortly.
