My treatment approach is rooted in person-centered care, where the focus is on understanding and supporting each individual’s unique experiences and needs. I strive to create a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, ensuring that my patients feel safe and valued as they work toward their mental and emotional well-being. I aim to empower my patients to take an active role in their journey toward healing and growth.
I bring over a decade of diverse clinical experience that has shaped my comprehensive understanding of patient care across various challenging and dynamic environments. I began my career as a registered nurse in a Neuro Intensive Care Unit, where I gained invaluable expertise managing complex neurological and critical care cases, honing my skills in acute assessment and high-pressure decision-making.
I expanded my practice into behavioral health by working in a locked acute psychiatric facility, where I cared for individuals in crisis, navigating the complexities of severe mental illness with compassion and professionalism. This experience deepened my commitment to person-centered, empathetic care.
My journey then led me to a correctional healthcare setting, providing psychiatric care to prisoners in a jail environment. This role required adaptability and resourcefulness, ensuring the safety and dignity of a vulnerable population while addressing their unique mental health needs.
In a busy outpatient clinic, I further refined my ability to manage a high volume of patients while delivering personalized and effective care. This setting emphasized the importance of collaboration and efficiency in achieving positive outcomes for a wide range of patients.
Most recently, I have focused on private practice, where I provide individualized psychiatric care in a supportive and therapeutic environment. This role has allowed me to foster strong therapeutic relationships and offer comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals.
Each of these roles has contributed to my growth as a clinician and has provided me with a broad and versatile foundation to deliver compassionate, patient-focused care.

Telehealth and mental health care are an excellent fit because they remove many of the barriers that often prevent individuals from seeking and receiving the care they need. Mental health challenges can make it difficult for patients to attend in-person appointments due to anxiety, depression, transportation issues, or a lack of local providers. Telehealth offers a convenient and accessible solution, allowing patients to connect with mental health professionals from the comfort and privacy of their own homes.
Additionally, telehealth can create a more comfortable and less intimidating environment for patients to share their feelings, fostering openness and trust in the therapeutic process. It also enables continuity of care, as appointments can be scheduled more flexibly, even for individuals with busy or unpredictable schedules.
With advancements in secure technology, telehealth ensures that patients receive the same level of personalized, evidence-based care as they would in a traditional setting, while promoting accessibility, equity, and convenience in mental health treatment.
These terms refer to certain approaches to treat diagnosed ADHD. Mentavi Health / ADHD Online may provide stimulant approaches (certain medications under medical treatment that are generally considered Class II controlled substances) or non-stimulant approaches (medications generally not considered Class II, and/or therapy and coaching not related to medication).
A diagnosis and initial conversation with our treatment clinicians is key to the best path for you. The diagnosis is a key first step to determine if you have ADHD or other related conditions. Approximately 60% of patients with ADHD have co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression, for example. At the same time, patients who believe they have ADHD may not even have it. For those who do, there can be a variety of considerations into what kind of treatment works best to meet the patient where they’re at.
If you are not feeling right, your journey starts with the first step of diagnostic evaluation.
