My approach to mental health care is centered on individualized treatment, patient education, and empowerment. I take the time to understand each person’s unique symptoms, life circumstances, and goals. I consider the whole person—their lifestyle, habits, daily routines, and personal challenges—to address underlying factors that may impact mental health. By fostering a collaborative relationship, I help patients become active participants in their own mental health journey.

Education is a key part of my approach. I ensure patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options—whether that includes medication, therapy, or behavioral changes—so they can make informed decisions about their care. My goal is to empower patients with the tools and knowledge they need to take charge of their mental well-being and achieve long-term success in their treatment.

Clinical Expertise

I am a board-certified family physician with over 10 years of experience providing comprehensive primary and mental health care. During my residency at Medical City Fort Worth, I received additional training in treating mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD, which deepened my expertise in this area. Since graduating, I have worked in private practice as a family medicine physician, where mental health has remained a significant focus of my work. Given its increasing prevalence, I continue to dedicate a large portion of my practice to diagnosing, managing, and supporting patients with mental health concerns. My experience includes medication management, patient education, and collaborative care with therapists and specialists to ensure well-rounded treatment. Whether in-person or via telehealth, my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to take control of their mental well-being.

Education & Degrees

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine; Residency: Family Medicine at Medical City Fort Worth; Undergraduate Degree: Exercise Physiology – University of Miami

What made you want to join the ADHD Online team?

I work with ADHD Online because ADHD is often misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and undertreated with too few physicians willing to treat it. When properly managed, ADHD treatment can be life-changing. Too many patients struggle to find care, and I’m passionate about filling that gap. Telehealth allows me to provide accessible treatment to patients across Texas, including those in rural areas who wouldn’t otherwise have access to a specialist.

Curious about stimulant or non-stimulant approaches?

If you’re navigating ADHD or other mental health challenges, you have options. At Mentavi Health / ADHD Online, we assess what works for you.
Some may start with non-medicated approaches like coaching or therapy.  In other cases, patients may explore medication treatment paths when warranted by diagnosis. For some diagnosed with ADHD, the treatment clinician may work with the patient to determine if stimulant approaches work best for them. Stimulant approaches are certain medications under medical treatment that are generally Class II controlled substances. Non-stimulant options are another approach that can work for many.  Medication approaches can be used in tandem with coaching or therapy.

The key is starting with our diagnostic evaluation, which is reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional. Getting clarity on what you’re experiencing is the first step toward feeling more in control. From there, you and your treatment team can determine the best path—whether that’s coaching, therapy, medication, or a combination that works for your life.

If you’re not feeling right, let us walk alongside you by starting with the diagnostic evaluation.
There may be a brief delay in service today between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM ET. Thank you for your patience — we look forward to assisting you shortly.
