Patient Support Specialist

Job Description

ADHD Online, LLC is actively hiring a full-time Patient Support Specialist to field inbound calls, emails, and chats from our patients.

As a Patient Support Specialist for our online diagnostic platform, you will provide the highest level of customer service. The ability to anticipate patient needs and implement our solid solution derived from multiple information sources is crucial to meeting and exceeding patient service objectives and communicating accurate information. The drive to support new technology and systems, the dexterity to enlist the assistance of management, as well as the capacity to synthesize large amounts of information are surpassed only by the goal of earning patient loyalty by serving them with courtesy, timeliness, and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls, chats, and emails to assist patients with their inquiries
  • Assist patients with scheduling appointments through our medication management program
  • Educate patients about ADHD Online, LLC
  • Research information in databases to resolve patient issues
  • Process, maintain and update records in our database
  • Operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle multiple responsibilities at one time
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED required, some college experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience required
  • Healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Strong ability to deescalate patient issues
  • Ability to listen and provide solutions to patients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $13.75 – $16.50 per hour
